The room was good sized and the bathroom large. Location: the hotel was very close to a lovely hike to Easedale Tarn, and the mountains and village...

I was here for 2 days and will be back. The hotel was modern, I appreciated relaxing rooms and friendly staff. The breakfast was lovely, a huge variety of lovely food. The room with a great view. The location was stunning, in lovely surroundings, convenient to go everywhere. And it was also just off the lake district-hence the lakes, local pubs and restaurants, and local attractions and walks.

Every staff member was helpful and attentive. Thoroughly enjoyed central heating, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, and an electric kettle in the room;))

Everything was really good, helpful staff, stunning views of the mountains. A savoury and delicious breakfast with toast, porridge and hardboiled eggs to order. The beds were extra large, I slept well. That hotel was in a nice location, on a lovely hike to Easedale Tarn.

Clean as new rooms with luxurious decor create a comfortable atmosphere. The amazing views from each room, like the Rothay suite's panorama of Helm Crag, offer a serene escape that leaves you wanting more.
The space around the toilet in the Double Room, Wordsworth felt cramped, which might be an issue for some. Wi-Fi signals lack consistency in the rooms.

Staying in the Rothay room was a good experience, with fine views of the Lion and the Lamb, and an everything was super clean, tastefully decorated space with a comfortable bed and high-tech bathroom. The fresh coffee bags and quality toiletries added thoughtful touches. The honesty bar in the guests' lounge created a cozy atmosphere. Breakfast was really good, particularly with the perfectly scrambled eggs and fresh fruit salad, but access to more sandwich options would have been appreciated.

An Lovely Weekend Getaway
We stayed for four nights and loved every moment! The cozy Double Room Wordsworth provided the perfect romantic setting. Jacky and her attentive team, especially when I proposed. Delicious food at the onsite restaurant added to the fantastic experience. Highly recommend for couples!

We had a wonderful three-night stay, enjoying the beautifully presented double room and the warm hospitality of Jacqui and Keith, making us feel right at home while we explored the nearby Alock Tarn, just a short 1 km walk from the B&B, and took a stroll around Rydal Water, almost a 2 km scenic path away.

Fine Views and Warm Hospitality
The breakfast offered a lovely selection with high-quality ingredients, definitely a highlight of our mornings. Jacky, our host, were very good too, ensuring all our dietary needs were met. The only downside was the size of our room, but it had everything we needed for comfort.

Best little getaway!
We spent 2 nights in a lovely double room with awesome views. Jacky, our host, was super friendly and helped us with hiking tips. The breakfast was delish, totally loved the honesty bar too! One downside was that the shower could use a bit more pressure, but overall, everything was perfect!

The hosts, Jacky and Keith, were cute. The room was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and offered fine views of the fells and meadows. Breakfast choices were delicious and generous. It definitely set me up for the day. The location is perfect-just a short, scenic walk to the village and all the local attractions. The guest lounge was cozy, with a great selection of drinks at the honesty bar. Only downside was the Wi-Fi signal in my room. But the charm of the place and Jacky's warm hospitality more than made up for it.

More accessible seating in communal areas would be nice.

We loved the comfy Rothay room and the clean, spacious layout. The location is perfect for walks. We dined at the Jumble Room and Tweedies, both served amazing food. The owner was super helpful, accommodating our dietary needs. The breakfast spread was a highlight, especially the delicious smoothie and fresh fruit.
Only downside was the room switch. We had to change rooms after our first night, a bit inconvenient.
